Jerry Sacher – Book Release Party and Q&A
Sunday, May 4, 2014 : 4pm – 6pm
I am pleased to be moderating a discussion with author Jerry Sacher about his new novel, Noble’s Savior. Jerry has two other published novels, so he is a great resource for everything from the creative process to editing & revising; and from dealing with rejection to working with a publisher…. All aspiring writers, bring your questions!
From 4pm to 5pm, ChiPRC will be open to the public. Jerry will sign copies of Noble’s Savior, which will be available for $15 per copy — cash only, please. Give a $3 donation for admission to the second hour. From 5pm to 6pm, Jerry will be reading from Noble’s Savior and giving a special Q&A.
Noble’s Savior is a gay romance set during the turbulent Russian Revolution. The novel features Jerry’s trademark elements: realistic characters, suspense and intrigue, and action that will keep you turning pages. Jerry’s attention to historical fact keeps the story grounded in real events that changed the face of the Russian Empire.
The story of two men falling in love on Russian soil is especially important now. The Sochi Olympics have brought to public attention the hatred and abuse that the LGBT community still faces. The fact is that there always have been, and will always be, gay men and women in Russia. They have contributed to every phase of Russian history….
